COMPANY FOUNDED

Devtel Software was founded. We define ourselves through offering expert level Services & Consultancy, while focusing on subcontracting Nokia Research Center on MeeGo OS work packages.

2012
INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION FOCUS

Customer portofolio increases upon deciding to offer our expertise on the development of industrial automation and equipment integration projects.

2013
CUSTOMER PORTOFOLIO EXPANSION

Devtel Software starts collaboration with leading German industrial automation manufacturers and services providers.

2014
IN-HOUSE INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT

We start to develop and use our in-house data center and DevOps infrastructure, only, reducing costs and greatly increasing the speed and quality of our services.

2016
A VISION OF PRODUCTS

Using its extended field and business experience, Devtel Software starts developing the backbone for future B2B and B2B2C products. The AI and Deep Learning R&D department is created to enable a future-proof approach.

2018
CORE TECHNICAL EXPERTISE WIDENING

Core technical expertise, previously centered around the usage of C++/Qt technologies, expands to include cloud and web technology expertise with the adoption of the .NET Core and Angular/React frameworks.

2021
NEW MARKETING AND DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY

Marketing and Development strategy redefined. Two products lines, backed by AI technology, are added as a new company development direction. Long term strategy for IP creation and customization is in place.

LUCIAN HORGA

CEO & CO-FOUNDER

One of the co-founders of Devtel Software, Lucian Horga has both a technical background as a computer programmer and a management background. He worked as a software developer for more than 17 years while also co-managing the company for the past 11 years.

Lucian is now focusing on organizing and coordinating both technical and non-technical activities within the company as well as prospecting for new customers and opportunities. Creating processes and workflows within the company is his main interest at the moment.

AUREL POPIRTAC

CTO & CO-FOUNDER

With nearly two decades of software development experience and over a decade in executive leadership, Aurel co-founded Devtel Software with the purpose of creating a technical challenges-friendly work environment.

Aurel’s track record includes working and interfacing with the largest players in the industrial automation, mobile and automotive fields, while personally taking the responsibility of Devtel’s projects being practically designed, thoroughly implemented, deployed, further enhanced and maintained.

With over 20 years of experience in software development, Aurelian masters software architecture and its technicalities with a mature and practical touch. He is responsible for our cloud and server oriented development, making sure we successfully create 24/7 ready solutions.

ADRIAN STAICU

Principal Management

Adrian is a truly customer-needs sensitive manager. He is responsible for the definition and practical application of our development process. With a solid background in software development, he is more than capable of bridging over the problematic gap between technical and non-technical people.

Akos Csiszar

Head of AI

With 20 years of experience in software development, Radu leads our AI & Deep Learning R&D team. He is responsible for trimming the at times exotic ideas of our research experts, making sure applicable and functional data driven solutions serve the designed business cases.

TUDOR RADU

Head of QA

Responsible for defining the rigour and quality to which our work must abide to and function by. A highly meticulous persona with over 10 years of experience and professor-level knowledge on what quality stands for by the book. He is keen on automation and high complexity distributed testing infrastructures.

IULIU HORGA

Head of R&D

Iuliu has reached a holistic level of experience by tackling R&D targeting as many deployment environments, a great mix of programming and technology flavours. With +10 years of exp, he has reached the software architect level and is responsible for the soundness of many of our distributed systems.

AURICA MUTU

Head of HR

Involved and responsible with our office and HR management. She is managing through the high variation of daily tasks while putting an emphasys on our greater teams’s well-being, as well as its continuous expansion. Aurica is keen on constantly balancing our company’s work environment.
